![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But if you can bypass all those issues it’s a great game.Lego Rock Raiders is a video game developed by Data Design Interactive and published by Lego Media for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation. The later ones always some bug or crash will happen due to the finicky game engine those old Lego games used and outdated compatibility settings. Also depends on what pc you're playing it on, the older it is you might have less issues with it. It’s thankfully only on the torrential section and not main campaign. the only real issue I had was the tutorial black screen bug, the form say it some sort of a camera script error that causes the screen to go black despite the hud and menu working fine. so I got alternative “exe” and “dll file” replaced the old ones, and game will finally work, but the cut-scenes, music will don't work and the framerate and performance is horrible, so I used the dgvoodoo2 program and it not only fixed the performance and framerate issues but the cut scenes and the music issue working normally now. The installation was quick, but the original EXE will not work at all even with the compatibility setting changed, apparently the "d3drm.dll" file that come on the disc is outdated. My PC is pretty old a 32-bit system from 2010. Like everyone else I did follow the Rock Raiders community tutorial how on install it, yes before I used the patches I tried to see if the game will boot up at all. Thankfully I finally got this to work on my pc. But this game was a fluke, it’s a really good game. this game is a very addicting real-time strategy game, made by “Data Design” which shocked me consider they’re infamous for making lots of god-awful shovelware garbage games on the PS2 and Wii like “Ninjabread Man” and “Anubis II”. I LOVED LEGO ROCK RAIDERS, a video game tie-in to the playset that sadly flopped after just one year, i remember those sets i used to have those Lego catalogue magazines, and those were heavily featured on it but since 2001 they disappeared, I remember getting demo disc of this game that was bundled with "Heinz ketchup" pack as part of some weird LEGO promotion. ![]()
